Our after church coffee fellowship is a great success!  Cocodrie’s has graciously put out a bottomless coffee pot, allowing us the opportunity to fellowship with our church family and meet our many visitors.  It’s also

Dave’s “New” Wife

You may have noticed Dave Keller running sound and setting up equipment at church during the past 3 years or so.  Most times he came alone or with his daughter Brianna while we stood in faith for the restoration of his marriage to Shana.   The story below is the result of years of fervent prayer.  Shana, who introduces herself as Dave’s “new” wife, tells the story in her own words.

M

y name is Shana Keller.  I am 36 years old and have attended church all my my life.  I thought everything was great in my life… until … I fell.  I had packed up and moved from my home into a small apartment.  Not only did I leave my husband but I also left my daughter and many friends.  I threw it all away and opened the door for extreme demonic attack.

I began to experience many firsts in my life.  I became addicted to pain killers, among other things, and relied heavily on anti-depressant drugs.  I couldn’t function without them; and  was in constant pain both mental and physical.

After 2 ½ years on the run, I made the decision to enter back into my marriage and come back to the Lord, but I still had to have the medications.

For the past 2 ½ years Pastors John & Irene have been standing on the Word of God and praying & believing with Dave for the restoration of our marriage and family.  They were delighted when I called on the day of our 9th wedding anniversary and asked to surprise my husband by renewing our wedding vows. –  we performed the wedding ceremony right there on the deck of Cocodrie’s Restaurant.

We can laugh now at how I would run the other way when I would see them in public.  I did not want them to get near me because I knew they were going to want to pray for me.  I did not want prayer because I was in rebellion.  They knew all the bad stuff I had gotten in to, but they loved me anyway and kept believing for me and my family.

“Little did I know that in a few hours I would be completely free and healed”  Shana Keller

So we renewed our vows and I told them  about all the pain  I had been in;  we prayed and I felt some relief but more than anything I felt peace.  Soon after that, I told my husband I wanted to go through their deliverance process.

I walked around all day in a calm but confused state on June 16th, the day of my deliverance.  All I could think about was what the evening held for me.                   Continued…

Shana Keller     continued from page 1 Little did I know that within a few hours I would be completely free and healed and that I would not need anymore pain medication or antidepressants or any other mood or mind altering drugs.  I would be free to love my husband and family again.

The time we spend during the deliverance was priceless (because of my physical limitations and all the medication I was taking, they made the 45 minute drive to our home).

There was nothing tormenting or shocking about the whole process; everything was ministered out of love and a compassion I have never experienced before.  We laughed some and we cried some, but mainly we experienced the love, mercy, grace, and compassion of the Holy Spirit.  I still have not taken any medications, nor do I need any of them!  I also quit smoking and have not had withdrawal symptoms or cravings for cigarettes.  God is so cool.  After experiencing such freedom and newness of life, I asked Pastors if I could be baptized again.  So on Sunday, August 6th I was re-baptized and the old person was truly laid to rest.

“My life is so much better now than it ever was before”

Thank God for good pastors.  I am so thankful that they saw my husband as a man of faith.  They took him and cultivated that faith in him, held him and encouraged him to not give up on our marriage.  Because they magnified to him the truth of God’s Word and how powerful it is, we now have our family back together.  We have wonderful pastors who believe in us and are happy to encourage us and cultivate God’s call for our lives.

My life is so much better now than it ever was before.  People who have known me all of my life have commented on the fact that I am not the same person.  There is life in me and I like myself.  I know God is pleased with me and everyday my goal is to please Him.  I never felt this way before.  There truly is so much freedom in being free - it is for freedom He set us free. Beach Restoration

The dune restoration process on Navarre Beach is almost complete.  We praise God for this hurricane-free 2006 season giving the county and state time to finally repair the damage caused from hurricanes Ivan (2004) and Dennis (2005).

Worship CD #2 In Process

We’re about ½ way thru our next CD entitled, “Hurricane God.”  The current song list includes the title track

along with Rescue, I Give You My Heart, He Set Me Free, Holy of Holies and a few original songs.  We’re still in the selection process so if there is a song you would like to suggest for “Hurricane God”, please let us know.  Upon completion we’ll be giving them out.  As we do with everything here at Navarre BeachSide Church, they’ll be offered free of charge.  We still have a few copies of our “No Walls” CD.  If you would like a copy, let us know!

Tend to the Lost Sheep

All of our ministers take seriously the command Jesus gave His disciples in Matthew 10:5-8 ,

“Don’t begin by traveling to some far off place to convert unbelievers.  And don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy.  Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood.  Tell them that the kingdom is here.  Bring health to the sick.  Raise the dead.  Touch the untouchables.  Kick out the demons.  You have been treated generously, so live generously.” (The Message Bible).

During the past year we have led literally hundreds into (or back into) the Kingdom of God including water baptism in the Gulf of Mexico.

In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we have seen dozens of saints set free from depression, homosexuality, addictions, lust, fear, infirmity, etc., through our deliverance ministry.  We target anything and everything the devil would use to steal the more abundant life Jesus promises in John 10:10 .  The final step of the deliverance process is the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the Biblical evidence of speaking in other tongues.

We have seen so many of the healing miracles of Jesus this past year reversing cancers, blood diseases (including HIV & Hepatitis), allergies, heart disease, & chronic pain that we have actually lost count!  Don’t pass up the opportunity to have one of our ministers pray for you.  James 4:2 states that we don’t receive because we don’t ask.  So ask!

In His Service,

   Pastor John
